Emmanuel Carrillo

Emmanuel is a philosophy and fine arts student with a love for the written word. He grew up in Argentina, Chicago, and Minnesota, but calls the California San Joaquin Valley home. When he’s not ruining his eyesight reading or painting, he’s playing bass in the indie band Young Douglas. He is a lover of punk rock, cumbia, synthpop, and reggae. After tickling the bass, you may find him watching an obscure film, consuming cheap but delicious food, or taking a walk around the neighborhood (making sure to note how many cool bugs he sees). A simple guy with a passion for the surreal and absurd, Emmanuel is excited to continue working for Vista.
