When It Rains

When It Rains

When it’s cold outside, no-one else cries.
The mailman will stop doing his runs.
Nobody sees him.

The Jail cells are littered with Men and women
The children are slaves.

Pigs and Cows are of the highest praise, and technology runs it.

It’s cold outside
Because the laughter is so surreal only to be hidden behind the envy of others, who also bite
their tongue in every confrontation because of fear.

They all want to be perfect.
But they can’t.

Sure, the humble can pray and stay with God
But they are locked up too

The enemy of earth, is also its best friend.

The father weeps for the lost world.
But nobody sees him, when it’s cold outside.
